What You'll Actually Do
Lead an engineering team: Manage and grow a high‑performing engineering group focused on delivering reliable, scalable product features.
Evolve the design system: Expand and refine platform design system components to support new product needs while maintaining consistency and usability.
Own communications services: Oversee the services that deliver messages to members, ensuring reliability, clarity, and alignment with product intent.
Set delivery direction: Partner with Product Managers to plan work, sequence priorities, and make tradeoffs that balance speed, quality, and impact.
Drive execution quality: Coordinate testing and quality checks to ensure features meet expectations before and after release.
Guide technical strategy: Participate in architecture discussions and help shape long‑term technical direction for frameworks, services, and platforms.
Develop the team: Hire, onboard, and develop engineers while monitoring staffing needs and aligning skills to roadmap demands.
Represent engineering: Communicate estimates, milestones, outages, and risks to business stakeholders and collaborate with peer managers across teams.
