Opis posla
Are you an enthusiastic Embedded QA Engineer that likes to work on challenging and unusual projects? If so, we might just have a job for you! We are looking for a Firmware QA Engineer to work on one of our biggest projects, an IoT smart home solution with a userbase of more than 500k users and a daily data flow of more than 20GB.
About the position:
As an Embedded QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded systems and software. You will work closely with our development team to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, testing methodologies, and automation.
Main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for embedded systems and software.
- Perform manual testing and develop automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct performance testing, stress testing, and regression testing on embedded systems.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team to improve product quality.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and other team meetings to provide input on testability and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in embedded systems and software testing.
Kvalifikacije
About you
- 3+ years of experience in embedded systems testing and QA.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems architecture, firmware, and hardware.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Robot
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
