An impressive success story: The nursing service in Berlin now cares for around 1,000 people in their own homes. The former Berlin Senator for Health and Social Affairs Ulf Fink and the then head of nursing services Marlies Wanjura, who looked after one of the first stations in Berlin, were the godfathers of the company's start-up in the 1980s.
At that time, many people were still being cared for in hospitals without it being medically necessary because there were no adequate care structures in the home. Ulf Fink and Marlies Wanjura initiated the establishment of social stations in Berlin.
The positive experiences with the social stations motivated Susanne and Georgios Giannakopoulos to support those in need of care. In 1988 they founded their first social station in Berlin.
The family business, which has now developed into a modern healthcare facility, can look back on an impressive success story spanning over 35 years.
At the beginning there were two employees, today around 1,500 people are involved in our company. The nursing service is represented in almost every district of Berlin. Patients are cared for on an outpatient basis by our employees at several locations in Germany. The focus is on setting up and expanding care options in the outpatient sector.
