What We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced AI Modernization Architect to design frameworks that enable AI-powered legacy system transformations.
If you excel at identifying patterns in complex systems and enjoy designing intelligent frameworks rather than implementing individual migrations, this role offers a chance to shape how AI transforms enterprise modernization.
Role Overview
As our AI Modernization Architect, you'll design the intelligence frameworks that power our transformation platform. Rather than implementing specific migrations, you'll create systems that can identify patterns across diverse legacy technologies and develop the orchestration components that sequence modernization steps (analysis → extraction → implementation → verification).
Our current solution uses AI to categorize stored procedures based on their structure, identify SQL patterns, and map these to equivalent modern implementations. You'll expand this approach to other legacy technologies, designing frameworks that enable AI to understand the intent behind various legacy systems and generate appropriate modern equivalents. Your work will establish the blueprint for how our AI-powered modernization applies across the enterprise technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Design architectural frameworks that enable AI-powered transformation across diverse legacy technologies, building on our successful database modernization approach
Create meta-level abstraction models that automatically identify patterns in legacy systems regardless of the specific technology
Develop orchestration systems that sequence the generalized modernization process: legacy analysis → business rule extraction → modern implementation → parity verification
Establish verification frameworks that ensure 100% functional equivalence between legacy and modernized systems
Determine the optimal blend of generative AI capabilities with traditional analysis and automation techniques
Design systems that can adapt our modernization approaches to different client environments and technology stacks
Collaborate with our global team and partner with groups developing complementary agentic solutions to create an integrated modernization ecosystem

7+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture and modernization
Strong background in enterprise architectures
Background working with Gen AI technologies in practical applications (preferred)
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments
Track record of designing systems and frameworks that enable others to implement effectively
Experience collaborating across global, remote teams (preferred)
