Opis posla
As a Software Lab Engineer at Skyline, you will play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining our lab environments that simulate complex digital ecosystems. You’ll ensure our solutions are thoroughly tested for performance, usability, and scalability, while working closely with software developers, system engineers, and product experts.
This is a role where technical expertise meets creativity and problem-solving, perfect for someone who enjoys digging deep into systems, experimenting with new tools, and ensuring everything runs flawlessly.
What you’ll do
- Set up, configure, and automate test and lab environments for software validation
- Develop and integrate testing frameworks and tools to support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to define and validate acceptance criteria
- Run functional, performance, and usability tests, documenting outcomes and improvements
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and help drive product quality
- Work in an agile environment, contributing to innovation and iterative delivery
Kvalifikacije
What we’re looking for
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, ICT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Solid experience in scripting/programming (Python, C#, Java, or similar)
- Hands-on knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Ranorex, Wireshark)
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL such as Cassandra, OpenSearch)
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Interest in agile development, continuous learning, and experimenting with new technologies
