Opis posla
What you will do in this role:
The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Life Cycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and defining the product vision. This role will work closely with the Engineering, Sales and Marketing/Documentation teams, as well as the Open Source Community. The Product Manager will also support customers to ensure their satisfaction goals are met while ensuring that the product supports HAProxy Technologies overall strategy and goals.
- Manage and maintain roadmap
- Manage and coordinate product release lifecycle
- Identify common and new use cases
- Be an expert on your market
- Ensure the best product experience to the customer and end user: “simplicity”
- Follow-up with development team and help adjusting priorities
- Work with Documentation team to keep documentation up to date
- Drive Marketing team to communicate accurately about our product:
Blog post
Social networks (Twitter, LinkedIn, …)
Webinars
Talks
- (if applicable) Participate in community channels:
Collect feedback and use cases
Help manage github issues
Travel to meet customers and assist to tradeshows

Kvalifikacije
What you will bring to this role:
- 5+ years of experience in a role that touches one of the following markets:
Web Security
Network Appliances
Load Balancing
Cloud Environment / Kubernetes
- Technical background, with experience in any of the following markets:
Internet Hosting
Load Balancing
Web Security
Network Appliances
- Excellent teamwork and project management skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and attention to details & deadlines
- Understand how Internet and API technologies work
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma preferred
- Ability to easily flow with changes to priorities and projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-performance organization
