Generative AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, deploy and validate Gen AI features.
• Develop, fine-tune and maintain classic ML models across tasks such as classification, regression, recommendation and clustering.
• Own the full lifecycle of AI/ML features from prototypes to production. This includes rapid POCs, data preparation, training, evaluation, deployment through our platform and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for model deployment and integration with existing systems.
• Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring AI trends, research papers, new tools and applying them to business challenges.
• Set best practices for evaluation, monitoring and responsible AI in a fast-moving environment.
• Leverage AI assistance (copilots, code agents and automation) to move faster and compress engineering timelines.
• Work closely with product and engineering to deliver AI-powered features.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience (post-BS/MS) with focus on AI/ML systems.
• Hands-on experience with building and deploying Gen AI and ML features in production.
• Proficiency in Python/Java and modern ML frameworks.
• Working experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with multimodal models, vector databases, retrieval systems, AI agents.
• Proven track record in working with LLMs: fine-tuning, prompt-engineering strategies and model adaptation for real-world use cases.
• Strong background in building and integrating RESTful APIs and deploying models at scale.
• Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
